This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR (which generally means (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) have been admitted to the United States as a refugee, or have been granted asylum, as specified under applicable law.

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategic direction, commercial execution, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of high-performance products. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with deep experience in regulated, high-reliability manufacturing environments and a passion for translating customer needs into innovative solutions.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, sales, and business development to define product strategy, drive execution, and ensure alignment with FRALOCK’s long-term growth objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Product Leadership

    • Own the product roadmap and lifecycle strategy, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs, and business goals.

    • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform product positioning.

  • Commercial Execution & Business Development

    • Lead go-to-market planning, including pricing strategy, value proposition development, and sales enablement.

    • Partner with business development and sales teams to evaluate new opportunities, prioritize investments, and support key customer engagements.

  • Operational & Financial Oversight

    • Collaborate with engineering and operations to define product requirements, manage cost structures, and ensure manufacturability.

    • Drive cost estimation and gross margin analysis to support pricing and profitability targets.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Serve as the voice of the customer across internal teams, ensuring product decisions are grounded in real-world application needs.

    • Lead cross-functional teams through product development, launch, and post-launch optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or program management within semiconductor, aerospace/defense, or medical device industries.

  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling complex, high-reliability products.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience with cost modeling and pricing strategy.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a regulated environment, including engineering, quality, and regulatory affairs.

  • Background in materials science, precision manufacturing, or systems engineering.

  • Exposure to customer-facing roles involving technical presentations, proposal development, or contract negotiations.

  • Familiarity with quality management systems relevant to medical and aerospace manufacturing.

  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and ERP integration.

  • Experience working with DoD contracts, ITAR compliance, or government procurement processes.

  • Proficiency in stage-gate or agile product development methodologies.

  • Exposure to customer-facing roles involving technical presentations, proposal development, or contract negotiations.
