This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR (which generally means (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) have been admitted to the United States as a refugee, or have been granted asylum, as specified under applicable law.

 

Job Summary

The responsibility of the Hazardous Waste Tech I shall be to perform the production activities of the Waste Treatment department to achieve Lenthor Engineering’s, a Fralock company, customer quality and delivery requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow detailed training plan as specified in Results Producing Management (RPM) schedule.

  • Maintain chemical supplies and ensure that all chemicals are in the right location.

  • Coordinate with Plating departments when process baths shall be dumped.

  • Ensure that all spent chemical drums are properly marked, dated, and labeled.

  • Prepare manifests to transport waste.

  • Maintain the recovery and wastewater treatment systems.

  • Monitor and record the chemical analysis of the wastewater coming into and leaving the wastewater treatment and recovery systems.

  • Check water systems for leaks and perform on-site inspections.

  • Maintain all equipment in good working order.

  • Report all spills and problems to Environmental Manager.

  • Follow all company and departmental processes and procedures.

  • Monitor quality of work and compliance with process and product specification.

  • Communicate to the department supervisor any changes in production status.

  • Communicate material inventory concerns to the department supervisor.

  • Maintain statistical process control (SPC) data collection chart.

  • Acquire and improve knowledge of internal and external customer needs.

  • Participate and contribute to any red bead, quality, or production meeting.

  • Participate in the evaluation of processes, new equipment, facility improvements and procedures.

  • Follow company policies.

 

Required Skills

  • Competent in reading, speaking and understanding of the English Language.

  • Forklift (must have valid forklift operators license/certification).

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 yrs. experience in PCB manufacturing environment

 

Education Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
